THE STORY

Emil (Butch) Galante founded Galante Home Improvement in 1974.

 

As Galante Home Improvement grew, its owner wanted to cut his dependence on third-party material suppliers. "I wanted to reduce my own costs, as well as retail to consumers and other home contractors.

 

To do this, we had to buy directly from wholesale suppliers," Galante said. As a result, he opened Victory Remodeling Supply.

 

The business, which began in 1988, supplies an array of home-improvement products to homeowners and contractors. It's also become one of the Island's largest screen and glass-repair shops.
